The Island Map Store’s Barbados map was made several years ago along with other islands in the lower Caribbean. When I pass through the area, a flying fish sandwich is always on my mind…even if it requires sneaking out of the airport to get it! The island is also supposedly the birthplace of rum in 1703 when Mount Gay was first distilled. Rum and everything sugar related built Barbados and enriched wealthy planters and families in London alike. Sugar was King! I suggest you book a flight there and wash down a flying fish sandwich with some rum!
